Looking Glass Stables is a family owned and operated full-care boarding business on 83 beautiful acres in north Baltimore County.
There are two barns in use on the property: the main barn has 15 stalls, the strip barn has 6 stalls.
In the main barn we have a heated tack room, a bathroom with shower, a wash area and 3 areas with cross-ties. We have a grooming area next to the tack room!
Our stall footing is clay, or concrete with thick stall mats. They are 12 x 12 or larger, roomy, and bedded with straw. The horses love lying down for a nap in them. We clean them once daily.
The strip barn has 10 x 11 stalls with concrete/mat floors and are also bedded with straw. Each stall has a small window.
The horses enjoy 60 acres of rolling pasture for turnout with run-in sheds for protection from the elements. We also have two paddocks with sheds for turnout, 4 paddocks for limited turnout, and a 3 acre turn-out field.
For schooling and riding we have a 60 foot round pen, a 120' x 240' grass outdoor ring, schooling jumps in the 60 acre field and private trails off the back of the property.
